Sppart
PRIVACY POLICY
At Sppart we process personal information to support you with healthy-habits coaching. This policy tells you what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.
1. What data we collect
When you sign up and use the app, we store what is needed for coaching support:
- Name, email address, WhatsApp number.
- Initial questionnaire: age, weight, height, health conditions, medication, eating and activity habits, goals.
- Daily logs: meals (text and photos), physical activity, body measurements (weight, body fat %, tape measurements), mood, water, sleep, steps.
- Optional notes you write (in the mood field or in each log).
- Technical metadata: date of each log, device (iPhone/Android), app version, IP address of the last access.
2. What we use it for
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Deliver the coaching you signed up for (macro estimation, nutrition score, alerts to your coach, messages from Maria).
- Let your human coach (Bryan or the assigned team) support you with real context, not blind.
- Improve the method with aggregated and anonymous analysis (never individual without your explicit consent).
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever. If someone wanted to buy the Sppart database, the answer is no.
3. Who we share it with
We process your data on our own servers (Azure, in the US and Europe) and share the minimum necessary with two providers:
- OpenAI (US) — to estimate macros and added sugar in the photos and descriptions of your meals. OpenAI does not train models with your data (enterprise setting enabled). The photo is sent encrypted and discarded after the estimation.
- Microsoft Azure (US/EU) — hosts the app, the database, and the photos you upload. Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
There are no other third parties with access to your data. We do not use Facebook/Google tracking pixels. We do not share with advertisers.
4. The photos you upload
Meal and body measurement photos are private:
- Visible to you, to your group (if your post is not private), and to your coach.
- Stored in Azure Blob Storage with restricted access (short-lived signed URLs, not public).
- Processed by OpenAI Vision only to estimate macros and not reused afterward.
If you mark a post as private, not even your group sees it — only you and your coach.
5. How long we keep your data
While your account is active, we keep your full history (it is what makes weekly and monthly trend tracking possible).
If you ask to delete your account, we erase your personal data within a maximum of 30 days. Some anonymous aggregated data (used to improve the model) may remain, but no longer associated with you.
6. Your rights
At any time you can:
- Request a copy of your data (we send it to you in JSON by email within 7 days).
- Correct incorrect information.
- Delete your account and all your personal data.
- Turn off reminders and notifications from your profile.
For any of the above, write to us on WhatsApp at +57 321 816 8704 or by email at hola@sppartanos.online.
7. Adults only
Sppart is for people over 18 years of age. If we find out that a minor signed up, we close the account and delete the data.
8. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, passwords with secure hashing (bcrypt), and restricted access to the database. Even so, no system is perfectly secure — if we detect a breach that affects you, we notify you within 72 hours.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we notify you by email and within the app. The date of the last change is at the bottom.
10. In-app messages
The app includes direct messages: with your human coach, with Maria (the AI coach), and with other people in the same group. Any message you send is stored on our servers so you and the other person can read it later.
- Messages with your coach or with Maria: we keep them while your account is active. Your coach reads them to provide better support; Maria uses them as conversation context. Nobody else from your group sees them.
- Messages with other group members: we keep them for up to 90 days after the last message in the thread. After that they delete automatically. This is so the community works as a conversation rather than a permanent archive.
- Abuse reports: if someone sends you something inappropriate you can report it from the message. The report goes to the team (Bryan + the coaches), who review manually. The person who reports is not identified to the reported person.
We do not read messages between group members without a prior report. If you ask to delete your account, your sent messages remain in the other person's threads (we cannot delete from their side) but they no longer appear linked to your name.
